eLABs extends a wide range of services to its member-companies. These services cover all of the aspects related to Sales & Marketing, Institutional Development, and Technical practices. This wide range of services aims at assisting member-companies to upgrade their capacities and businesses, as well as strengthening team spirit among members, benefiting from economies of scale, and enhancing members’ competitive advantage. The services include, but not limited to:
Sales & Marketing Services
Developing local distribution & marketing systems for member- companies’ products and services, through creating new collective distribution channels and apparatuses;

Developing marketing tools, material and systems to support member-companies (such as collective website, collective catalogues, call center, etc.);

Managing collective bidding for large-scale projects on the national and regional levels; and

Investing in establishing common resources to be shared by member-companies, such as: regional offices utilized for international marketing activities, excellence center, software libraries, etc.
Institutional Development Services
Establishing dialogue with governmental bodies and decision-makers, in order to work on improving the economic and legal environment surrounding the ICT sector, as well as contribute in the modernization process and boost the local demand for the Egyptian ICT products and services;
Liaising with local and International Organizations in areas, which can benefit the Egyptian ICT economy sector;
Supporting member-companies to upgrading their capabilities, developing their companies and grow their business;
Creating Clusters – where several member-companies work in cooperation on a certain project, within the project guidelines and quality management framework adopted by eLABs; and
Advocating member-companies interested in merging and/or entering into formal cooperation/strategic alliance agreements, as the above clusters demonstrate successful performance in practice.
Technical Services
Performing methodological quality testing and assurance procedures on the members’ software products. eLABs has established a 3-phase quality assurance system, with clear evaluation and acceptance criteria & procedures. Only products that comply with these requirements can be marketed through eLABs initiatives. Products failing to meet these standards are reported back to developers with clear technical details and reasons to be modified and the developer can re-apply for re-evaluation once such problems are resolved; and
Supporting R&D initiatives leading to benefit member-companies and the Egyptian ICT economy sector.
